Rolf Brüggemann appointed new Head Retail Banking and Capital Markets

Rolf Brüggemann is an Attorney-at-law and received a Master of Laws in European Legal Studies (LL.M.) from the University of Exeter (UK). Before joining the Swiss Bankers Association, he served for five years as a member of the Executive Board of the Financial Market Authority of Liechtenstein, where he gained extensive experience in EU financial market legislation. Prior to this, Rolf Brüggemann held various management roles in the legal and compliance departments of the two big Swiss banks for a total of almost 20 years. Claude-Alain Margelisch, Chief Executive Officer of the SBA, is very pleased about the appointment: “Not only is Rolf Brüggemann an accomplished attorney, but in particular, he also brings many years of practical banking experience to this challenging leadership role.
